The Heritage Foundation, Donald's Architect, Does Not Care About Jews
"Protecting Jews" Is a Subterfuge To Cleanse America's Liberalism
A Jew, any Jew, cannot speak for every Jew. But what Jews have in common is a collective interest to fight antisemitism because we remember. We remember not only the Holocaust but centuries of persecution. This shared heritage is strong, undeniable, and intrinsic to our survival.
Yet on Passover’s final days, Jews are divided over Donald’s so-called campaign to fight antisemitism. In one camp, Jews see a misappropriation of our people’s struggles to advance an illiberal Christian Fundamentalist agenda farcically laid out in Project 2025 in a “treatise” called Project Esther. In another, Jews have taken the bait, believing Donald will lead us from the desert darkness of university campuses where HAMAS-supported terrorists are an existential threat to the Jewish people.
Passover is the tale of Israelites’ liberation from slavery in Egypt, redemption, freedom, and the fight for justice. Jews sit around the seder table talking about the Exodus, Israel, and now more than ever, the fragility of Israel, the hostages, the destruction of Gaza, and heightened uncertainty in the Middle East. The yearly ritual reminds us how fleeting freedom is – and it calls upon us to have compassion for the many who are denied it.
The miracle of the Ten Plagues, where God spared the Israelites' firstborn while striking down the Egyptians’, is a feel-good story for Jews, reinforcing the notion that good prevails over evil, with the help of an invisible hand.
Some Jews are falling for a modern sleight of hand from a snake oil salesman who is selling them a pox on someone else’s house – for now. That pox stars Middle Eastern born students at prestigious colleges who have dared to participate in America’s democracy by exercising the right to protest or express anger about Gaza. Watching fiery demonstrations of students chanting “from the River to the Sea,” is jarring for Jews who believe absolutely in the sovereignty of the State of Israel. But lest we forget Donald’s ingratiating support of White Supremacist tiki-torch supporters bellowing “Jews Will Not Replace Us,” or fanatical Christian fundamentalists sporting Nazi regalia during the Jan. 6 insurrection at the United States Capitol that Donald incited, and whom he later pardoned.
It’s impossible to erase Donald’s alignment with antisemitic agitators like the Proud Boys, the Oath Keepers, and Tucker Carlson. Donald has a long history of cozying up to Holocaust deniers – which is something Jews must not ignore or forget.
So why is Donald so hot on protecting Jews?
The answer lies in the roadmap his kingmakers have penned for him: the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025. The section called “Project Esther: A National Strategy to Combat Antisemitism,” is anything but that. Instead, it is a hollow nonacademic writing, resembling a book report written by a freshman poli-sci student who grew up gorged on Conservative gruel. The plan’s concept is to scapegoat the pro-Palestinian movement, which the “authors” allege are part of a global Hamas Support Network (HSN), or “terrorist group,” and use it to bring liberal America to its knees by imposing government authority over universities like Harvard and Columbia, media, education, the legal system, TikTok and other social media that do not align with the Christian Fundamentalist vision of the white patriarchy.
The cringy ‘book report’ borrows its title from another Jewish tale: The Book of Esther (Megillat Esther), or Purim, which recounts how a Jewish Queen persuaded her King not to kill Jews. It’s unclear why the inchoate Project Esther doctrine summons Purim to lay out its argument, other than to say it’s a parable about overcoming antisemitism.
From there, the doctrine moves on to Hamas’s Oct. 7th attack on Israel and uses it as a pretext to set up the premise that the pro-Palestinian movement that caught fire mostly on college campuses is an underlying and existential threat to America’s values and way of life. An enemy is created, and it’s Donald to the rescue. Round up international students and paint them as terrorists. Disappear them. Tell the world the government is fighting antisemitism. And in the meantime, attempt a coup at universities like Harvard, where the government can stamp out First Amendment rights and root out liberal ideology by inserting itself as the arbiter of standards and curriculum.
The Heritage Foundation doesn’t give a shit about antisemitism. Its fight is with liberal America.
Christian Nationalists want to turn back the clock. They winge about the sexual revolution (GASP, the sexual revolution!!), abortion, non-traditional families, LGBTQ people, books, diversity, critical race theory, and more. Give them the chance, and they’ll revoke a woman’s right to vote.
Take a gander at the gibberish from “Project Esther”:
“It should be obvious at this point even to the casual observer that there is an active cabal of Jew-haters, Israel-haters, and America-haters in Washington—all apparently aligned with the far left, progressive movement.”
The Heritage Foundation wants to tie together the “leftist orbit” with Hamas, which it says dominates Washington’s elite “in terms of platform, publicity, and even law – to the detriment of the American people.”
Donald did not rise to power on his own. He has been lifted by groups like The Heritage Foundation and other Christian Nationalists that cravenly want America to be white, Christian, and cleansed of liberalism.
What a clever ruse to lull Jews into thinking that Donald has our back, while the architects of his popularism are contemplating how to stab us in the back and use our plight to turn back the calendar.
In “Project Esther,” the writer makes the absurd argument that Jews were overly instrumental in dousing the flames of the German-American Bund, a group that cultivated Nazi sentiment after World War I. The treatise mentions how Jewish journalists, politicians, and movie moguls smote the movement. Ironically it mentions how one Lithuanian-born Jew, Congressman Samuel Dickstein, collaborated with Texas Congressman Martin Dies to establish the House of Representatives’ Special Committee on Un-American Activities, charged with uncovering Nazi and Communist activities inside the United States.
Well, we all know how that went. Jews inadvertently helped create a Stasi apparatus that ultimately and disproportionately targeted Jews, particularly writers, actors, and Hollywood moguls. Jews turned on one another to protect their hides. They named names. The Heritage Foundation wants to use Jews as their useful idiots to dismantle liberal society. We should not let them.
